This -25% at meals is truly an interesting exercise, really have thought about what's going in, hard to throw stuff away but mostly my dog gets it. Kind of looking forward to the diet part starting Monday, it's a holiday here so will be able to get set for the week ahead. Have had some back pain but it definitely muscular and definitely a part that's waking up saying: "So you wanna use me now do you? Just a minute, couple of days perhaps, ok let's go!"

Day4 - Jump Rope

learning to love it

Wrote a post from iPhone yesterday, lost it, so will be posting from laptop going forward. The exercise app is brilliant, really helpful on the tips, but the timer is excellent. I've nearly nailed the jump rope, it's just a matter of concentration (on breathing, counting the jumps, using the wrists, arms, legs, feet, breathing again) for what 20 seconds?! And abs w/o this morning felt pretty good too. My right shoulder has been a bit painful but think it's just coz I pushed too hard on the push ups on day 1, no pain this morning during exercise, think it's just a slightly wonky joint waking up. Find myself taking smaller portions rather than throwing 25% away, hmmm...

Day 1 - 75%

Read with interest and putting in to place the "leave a quarter" which has come up with a number of observations prior to a later lunch. Pouring away a quarter of my regular morning smoothie very easy. Couple of snacks (handful of jerky, less 25%, protein bar, hard to throw that away, but i did, if i'd saved 25%, would that be cheating even if I only eat 3/4 of that smaller bit later?!). Workout was harder than expected, had been lulled by the initial email saying we gonna take it easy, jumping (4x50 was more like 5x8 +10; 25, 15, 10; 32, 10, 8; 42, 8!), push ups got harder obviously, ab crunches need more practice! Stretching easy.
