Kenzai Run - Day 8

Yahoo!! Achieved my first goal of the week!

Decided to go on the treadmill today since it's really hot and humid outside. Managed to run for a constant 30mins at 10.5k/hr and still felt like I had some juice in the tank.

I learnt that my choice of music is a big motivational tool. Also running on the treadmill in the air conditioning seems much easier than Bowen road

Feeling good.

    Hi Lex - last night I picked up a Hed Kandi remix from 2007 which I hadn't listened to in years, took me back to carefree days of fun and sunshine. What do you normally listen to?

      That's great, Adil. It's nice to not feel exhausted after every run. Heat and humidity will certainly take their toll on speed and energy so I can see the appeal to take your run indoors once in a while.

        Agree with you on the music, I really struggle to run without it. Spotify has some great running playlists if you have it?

          I'm a pop/dance kind of gal. Used to listen to Spotify all the time during KB1 and 2, recently found some great tunes on soundcloud. I found a user, sukispalace, who "likes" a lot of tunes that I like too. https://soundcloud.com/sukispalace/likes

            I'm the same with music for motivation. Will have to try the spotify running playlists.
