Mind - a bit distracted but still here
- Dec 4th, 2019 at 3:18PM
Sorry team for the radio silence, I must say that engagement/ wedding stuff has taken up a lot more time than I would have expected!
I have missed a few meditations (especially in recent days) so I know that I need to re-focus. I don’t want to be one of the people who drops out after 4 weeks!
I have really noticed how much the time of day has an impact on my meditation. I most sit in the morning or the evening and find morning to be a lot easier - I am more still and calm.
I hope the rest of the team is doing well! I will check in on team blogs today at work :)

You are in an exciting moment, period in your life right now! It's one of the few life events that brings together the entire village, so to speak. And it's all going to go super fast! Which makes the 15 minutes Alexia Meditation Time that much more sweet and important. Slow down and pay attention to your breath. To your toes. To that ache in your back. Notice what surfaces.

I'm also a morning meditation person. In the evenings, the thought chains have more energy and I often forget to bring myself back. As you plan your wedding, and then a life with someone, it becomes more important to prioritize small times for yourself. Your workout time. Your meditation time. Make this commitment to yourself now and reap future rewards.

I bet it is so hard to sit still when you are thinking about wedding plans! How's it going with that and your meditations?
