KB 2 - Day 52 - all ok, just about

Well, last week was much better than the week before until I picked up a bit of a nasty bug. Everytime I tried to skip on Friday I would end up in a fit of coughing so I just did the strength exercises. Saturday I did pilates, and Sunday I did a 5k walk as I started coughing every time I started to run. Monday I decided not to do anything at all, as I thought probably best to get in to bed with a lemsip. So, I was back on the workouts yesterday and WOW! Very intense. Again, the skipping meant coughing so I just ended up doing strength. Its kind of frustrating as I still have this annoying cough. I have been to the doctors who are advising I just wait until it runs it course.
While I was there I got her to check if I had a post natal abdominal separation (my youngest is almost 4 btw - shows how often I bother to go to the docs - tend to self prescribe instead!). I was hoping I had in some ways to explain why I am so bad at the abdominal excercises now! But nope - all ok with the muscles per se - they are just super weak!
Having a tough time on KB2 this time. The difficult first half has not set up the right tone. So although I am in HK at home and therefore compliant, I feel fidgety, miserable, dissatisfied and out of sorts. Whereas the time has flown in other programmes, I can't believe I am only on Day 52! Urgh!
I had decided NOT to do the indulgence last week as I had such a calamitous week the week before. However, I am now thinking I need to get out of my funk and just go out for dinner with the hubby. Might give me something to look forward to. Thoughts? To indulge or not to indulge in my question.
