all done!!

what a journey! it has been a great ride of pain, sweat and fun! I'm looking forward to not having to get up early every day to exercise. finally get some sleep in!! :) the journey felt long and short but one that was totally worth it and I'm so glad I signed up. it's a shame that I didn't stick to the program as much near the end but I have learnt so much re diet vs exercise and striking the balance. definitely have the confidence that I can continue on and make permanent changes to my dieting habits. Even when I was out on Sat, I noticed a drank slower than usually which mean less alcohol intake in a night! congrats to everyone and finally, pancakes here I come! :)

home run

what a past week and a half. Work got pretty busy so threw me right out of a routine. barely got the chance to do my workouts or meal prep...sigh.

Now that the project is all done and dusted, I can finish off kenzai with a bang! need to start planning which restaurant to book for Monday night! :)

I only just realised today we have less than 20 days to go. Woot! :) definitely has put things into perspective and has motivated me to keep with the program for the last leg! hope everyone is doing well and keep at it and don't give up!

been finding it very hard to stick to the program the last few weeks as work been very busy so I tend to want to eat something sugary! I give it to people who can consistently keep up a diet and exercise regime! it's a lot harder than I thought!

back on track

can't believe we are already over the 50 mark! though it's probably to do with the fact that I haven't really been on the program the last 10 or so days. A few things have happened the past week that got in the way but I'm now back with renewed motivation and determination!

nearly half way!

the lessons are definitely resonating my motivation levels. last week was a tough week with sticking to the diet as work was busy and a few social events. however gained some new found motivation when I saw my trainer yesterday for the first time in 4 weeks and she was like, I can see definition in your arms. woot !

Dinner has been interesting this week. I love my meat but after a week of yoghurt, apple, banana and egg white, I'm now loving egg white! how I look forward to the egg white every dinner! :) I been aiming to skip the entire set without tripping and just when I thought I had a chance, we are now at 1,200. Guess I'll just have to keep aiming for it and eventually one day I'll be able to achieve no tripping! :)

Also, are there alternatives for chest dips and captains chair? I actually don't have 2 sturdy chairs at home to complete these exercises. Also my lower back has flared up a bit again hence am I also able to get alternatives to otter's kick as well? Thanks!

nearly 1/3 done!

when I saw the menu this week with dinner containing no meat, I was a bit skeptical whether I would feel hungry. with Monday done, it wasn't so bad after all.

so far I'm feeling good and love how the exercises are getting more intense.this weekend was hard re measuring my food as I went out but I did stick to no dressing/sauce/salt on my salad/food.

I had a hens weekend in Seoul and I feel like a need a detox from salt and oil! I was good and held off from alcohol however food was a different story! there's so many yummy food in Korea, it was hard to resist! though I have to say, the oil and salt didn't make me feel so good, nor did i enjoy the taste as much as before so my taste bugs must be changing bcuz of this program! I managed to do my exercises over the wkend but missed Friday. I guess the good news is, I have no more planned trips from now until end of August so no more temptations or excuses to sway off from diet! though I'm really amazed how I didn't really enjoy the oily food - not that I'm complaining :)

week 2 done

it has been a challenging with work being busy so I missed two 2 kenzai workouts... going to wake up earlier this week to do my exercise in the morning instead. however I'm feeling good and I have notice minor changes to my body which is encouraging.
ps. who invented leg circles!!!???

90% back

Haven't quite completely kicked the bug out of me yet but no more fever and got most of my strength back so yay to that!! thanks for the support, always helps. now slow and steadily to my workout for day 6!

Oh poo

Was hit with a stomach bug yesterday so was bed ridden and too weak to do my Day 4 work out. Not the best start to my program but at least this will motivate me more to stick to the program when I'm back 100%. hopefully I'll feel better by this evening so can do my workout for day 5.

Day 1

Been looking forward to start this program hence excited that day 1 is here! Luckily I had a colleague today who didn't mind taking an extra 1/4 of my food! might have to dine with him for all my lunches this week :) day 1 done and dusted. easier than I imagine but i guess this week is the easy week!
