Dropped a 10lb plate on my big toe as I was setting up for my first lift this morning. So much pain. Can still move the toe so hope that means nothing is broken. Clumsy idiot!

Dang. This is the dark side of weight training. It is far more dangerous than playing around with body weight based movements or resistance bands.
Might be wise to see the Doc to rule out anything serious. In the mean time, ice should help control the swelling and heat should help limber it up so can maintain the range of motion. Be careful not to immobilize it or it will really stiffen up!
