was cruising through today's workout until doing the side sit-ups - complete crash and burn!!! could not complete the full number in each set, but got through the reps. then read today's lesson! - well timed! need to plot some revenge for those side sit-ups though...................

Basically on diet - maybe a few vegetables that had a little bit of unwanted flavors/butter added to them and an extra egg one morning (asked for 1, but it seemed like a lot! ostrich?! - didn't notice my diet plan specifying chicken eggs!).
And now a big carry on duffle full of tupperware, turkey, tomatoes, fruit and homemade guacamole!
BUT THE BROWNIES AND POPCORN IN THE LOUNGE SMELLS SO GOOD! hahaha
me - could I get 200 grams of steamed vegetables with that
waiter - sure, any specific vegetable?
me - anything you got
food arrives and weigh it out
me - this is 120 grams and it is sauteed
waiter - isn't that what you asked for?
can't nail it every time! and apparently the metric system still has not penetrated the US!
it is amazing to be surviving with all the meaningless weekend and evening strolls through the kitchen just to munch on junk food completely gone. but it is really hard to eat dinner with my kids because they have so much junky and fun food that the smell is just brutal!
Walk in to the lounge with an amazing chef cooking up sautéed Japanese beef hamburgers and mashed potatoes............simply enjoying my cup of tea taking in the amazing smell..............little painful!
I think I have figured out what the most difficult thing in the Kenzai program is - guessing which size tupperware best fits a certain amount of food! Anyone have an app for this?!
it feels like lots of upper body and upper back work, am i missing something because doesn't feel like we are doing things on our lower backs................
Last night go home at midnight after work, still managed to prepare food for today, but the workout this morning was brutal. So timely article about sleep!!!
And something is clearly wrong with the timer on my iPhone when I am doing otter kicks - 25 seconds seems to take a minute and 15 seconds of rest is over in about 5 seconds. Only me?!
maybe i am doing it wrong, but my butt was in some serious pain!
re-discovered how sweet corn is and how awesome garlic mashed potatoes are!
as i packed food for lunch, seems like a lot more volume than I expected! - thought my new kitchen scale was broken!
trying to sort out day 1 of eating was a bit challenging - fortunately found some roast turkey at Costco which should cover some holes!
appreciate anyone who has easy recipe ideas for the "cooking challenged"!
adding an extra set of each exercise because i am not great with this 3/4 food thing - at least staying away from the alcohol...............excited to get to a more prescribed diet next week where some of the judgment is taken away. my 6 year old did the lunges and otter kicks with me - at least he was hurting more than me!
Seeing the diet preview definitely gives a sense of relief!
Going to miss butter on toast and cheese in the omlette.
Excited to put down the jump rope and go for a long swim on Sunday!
