Slog

Admittedly, this week has been a slog with the workouts, work and life. Went for 5 mile run today and bonked at 3.5 miles. Constantly hungry but staying positive and thankful. Glad to hear everyone else in Corvus is doing well!

Yep, right on cue, this is the part of the program that feels like a slog. Two things are happening; 1. Your body is experiencing accumulated fatigue. 2. The honeymoon period is over and the program has lost it's luster. You are entering what we call the Valley. Don't worry - most trainees experience this, you will come out. The important part is to stay committed, keep active in the community and blog out your experiences. Also read the lessons as we will address this.

      Hey David, good to hear from you..... wondering, hunger pains or cravings ? This week i experienced a couple things, some cravings and yeah, the whole 'valley' too.. but coming out of it i felt extra good by pushing through.... you're core and shoulders are looking stronger too !

        Same here! My body is feeling the pain and all. But I'm staying positive as well. We can do this! Let's keep going!

          I feel it! I really had a hard time doing the exercises this week. Exercises that felt like nothing last week suddenly got hard to complete or I had to rest longer in order to do the rep! I was surprised like you, but here's looking forward next week being better!

              Feeling the hunger pangs is something I can totally relate to...was working late nights most of the last week and it was way too difficult to control the hunger pangs! Stay the course David and soon you’ll feel more fitter and better 😀
