Hope everyone is doing great and feeling good :)

So a bit of an update… after chatting to Ward and my Osteo I am taking a bit of a different path to finish line. Unfortunately my back and neck are still out of whack and pretty painful so I have hung up my rope for now and am swapping my workouts with more gentle range of motion exercises.

Ward had some wise words for me on running a new unique race and practicing patience, which as always have been super helpful 👍and keeping me in the game just in a new way.

So for now its one day at a time, I am sticking on diet so that’s great.

I probably won’t be finishing the line with the most crazy outstanding results but hopefully with some new found wisdom on listening to my body and managing pain physically and emotionally.

Really been hit by something that my entire body is aching like crazy, coupled with a splitting headache 🤕 Managing to stay on diet but a wobbly couple of days on far from perfect workouts - only managed the skipping last night and had to stop 🛑 A weekend of 💤 is needed I think! Hope everyone is doing well.

☀️ Finally starting to warm up here in OZ so decided to swim for alternative cardio. What a nice relief on my aching shoulders and to break up the old routine now we are in the valley!!! Onwards team ☀️

So I used my indulgence to have some mini pancakes with a bit of maple 🍁 syrup and strawberries 🍓 (oh and some cream 🤪) at 2 year old birthday party! Quite happy to say I avoided the double chocolate cake!!!


I am always on the look out for yummy dinners that are veggies and protein and no carbs. I love soup but know that it can sometimes be deceiving how much stuff is in there and hard to measure grams.

Here’s a great soup by Aussie chef ‘the healthy chef’ that is delicious and very simple and easy to make. It is perfect as it has chicken, veggies and the star anise really adds flavour without needing stock. I guess the tamari isn’t ideal when on programme but other than that it’s perfect 👌

Making the most of the extended ski season in OZ. 29 degrees one day, 1 degree the next! The stretching has been fantastic after a day on the board :)


Reaching for balance :)

Over a month ago I finished KB2 at probably one of my most busy periods of work and life. Kenzai was awesome and no doubt helped me counter balance this crazy time.

However, literally on the last day of the programme I stared to get a problem with my eyes - not the best for a designer! After a few days of pain ending with a trip to the eye ER it turns out I have an inflammatory condition which is taking quite a few weeks to heal. This condition is exacerbated with stress and so it was time to maybe reign things in a little, taking the tempo down a notch for the last next month.

Instead of the 'striving' mode I often operate in, I have tried to be a bit kinder to myself and get back a bit of balance back.

This has lead me to this Reach programme. I am really looking forward to creating some healthy habits around morning and evening stretching. I can already tell the difference to my headspace by starting the day with these stretches.

Looking forward to a new journey with you all.
