Finally 

Tough programme but felt pretty good down the final stretch. Diet was okay, workouts were almost 100%. Thanks Kim for all the support. Was crap in the blogs but felt like most people were head down and marching on. Another great programme. Onto the next one!

Final days

Pushing to the end. Ready for this to be done. Had to skip workout today - traveling to London but will it it tomorrow. Diet has been spotty, workouts still good!


moving along

Not a huge amount to report. Things fine. Body feels reasonable although definitely tired in the mornings. Feeling a bit more sprightly in the workouts than last week although still a slog to get through them! Diet is okay, too much travel and tough schedule has made it harder to be exact on grams but getting in done. The no carbs at night is easier than I thought!


decent week

Had to use one of my chips since it couldn’t make my schedule work (there was talk of an airport workout). Don’t love to use them this early but oh well. Diet has been 80-90%.

Feeling lighter on my feet and although I felt like a truck had hit me when I woke up, my workout felt decent. 50 secs on the blast getting easier. Which of course means...

Will check in on the blogs this weekend.


Good start

Much better beginning than my last Beach blast. Feeling up for this one and going to try and nail it. Diet on point and 100% on workouts. Still tough despite being somewhat used to them!!

Brought it home 

Tough as hell. I can’t imagine coming into this cold - I was coming off Chisel and just about kept up with the workouts. If you nailed the diet (which I didn’t) you deserve to spend the rest of the year with your shirt off. I’ll do this again and get it right. Cracking programme as always!!


Haven’t given this my all and it shows. Looking through the blogs sounds like some folks have really nailed it. Kudos to you - this by far the toughest kenzai programme. I’ll finish strong this week but I have some unfinished business with this one. Sorry for being crap on the blogs


Mixed week

Sorry been busy with crazy travel schedule and kids etc. mixed week with the diet and workouts still killing me. I have a new nemesis - pushups with leg kicks or whatever they are called. I’m also finding the showgirls are brutal on my shoulders after all the pushups and struggling to finish the minute. Definitely the hardest kenzai I can recall. Haven’t gotten things mentally right but trying to get back on track! Have a good week all.


rough week

Terrible on diet and cashed in one of my tickets already for scheduling issues. Workouts kicking my arse though which is good. This week will be much better..!

Got totally knocked out by virus this week - haven’t eaten much of anything since Wednesday afternoon and clearly haven’t worked out. Been off work and either in bed or on sofa. Finally feeling human again on Sunday. Pretty lame end to chisel but I’ll do the workouts I missed next week and finish strong. Sorry been totally awol. Hope everyone else finished in style! Great program as always and thanks for all the support!

Not much to report - workouts fine, diet has been less than stellar but not terrible.

Did the 50 pull-ups today. Let’s just say it’s been a while since I’ve been ripping off sets of 10-15 in KB1. Goal for the year, get back pull-up form..!

Looking forward to the last week of good workouts - off to San Francisco today and traveling back Tuesday so may have to move some workouts around but will get it done one way or another.

Poor weekend

Workouts going fine and the third cycle is not as exhausting which shows progress. I'm feeling lighter and fitter. Poor weekend on the diet front - snuck in some wine and some non compliant foods despite my previous post about not taking an indulgence. Anyway we march on and I'll get this week right. Otherwise all well in my chisel world.
