Days behind by the looks of my training schedule but.....

  • Jun 20th, 2016 at 12:51PM

I arrived to Canada last night (having done my free cardio session on the travel day). I have missed today's session (we were driving to our final destination and I have 3 very jet lagged children with me - and a house to get ready for the weeks ahead) So, I will do at least 1.5 works outs tomorrow to make up for missing the day. Diet is still good. I have done my grocery shop and have started prepping food so that I am hitting the ground running tomorrow. Psychologically, I am not going to like having my 'Today's workout' not the exact day I am on.....as time zone wise, I am a day behind now....can this be changed.....seriously, I'm an on time person - even an early person.....being behind is going to torment me!!!

Some people think it is hard to do the workout. Not you. And I am right there with you, Gina. Missing a workout is harder. But being in relationship to that is part of being mentally tough. Just move forward. One box left un-click doesn't make you incomplete! Ohm.

Thanks Ward - exactly what I needed to hear! Got through one and half workouts and I am ok with that;-) Back on track. Thanks again.

You're did better than me this week, and I didn't even have to fly half way around the world with the kids. That's no small achievement in itself for most. Enjoy the jetlagged 3AM workouts in the cool weather!

I know what you mean about feeling behind. Living on the west coast it's as though the whole world has happened before I even get up in the morning.
But like Ward says, sometimes you just have to let the workout go. I have missed one or two along the way but try to make sure I never miss two in a row.
Hope you're feeling less jet lagged by today. (Tuesday)

God, I can't imagine dragging three children that far on airplanes and then managing to grocery shop. You're a super mom! Enjoy Canada!
