Day 3

I've been getting the diet well on track so that's good. I'm missing today's workout though as I've had to put the hours in the office with a very late night yesterday and today. I know everyday counts on reboot but I've had no choice which is a pain so early on. I won't even try to catch up but I'll get the workout done tomorrow morning for sure. Even so, I'm feeling very focussed.

Hilary, I had the same issue on Day 1! Couldn’t work out due to work. Kind of had it yesterday too, but I put my head down and did the workout at 9:30 p.m. after 14 hour day and no dinner. The way I figure it,...missing one or two workouts is much better than doing zero workouts,...which is what I was doing right before Reboot!

Let’s help each other look forward and not backward, as I will have this work vs. Kenzai battle many times in the next 28 days. My real fear is next week, when the workouts are much harder, then the possibility of missing them or just giving up creeps in.

    It's a perennial problem. We need learn how to deal with it long term. I'm like you - I know real work challenges are coming up. So my plan is to keep the focus particularly on diet, do what I possibly can and try my best to make space for the workouts - prioritise. And then not beat myself up if I just can't make it from time to time. What else can we do? Plus as you say anything is better than nothing! And well done to you for managing to do a workout at the end of such a long day!

      Thank you for those kind words. Yes, they say 80% is diet,...I’m going to do my best there despite the draw of alcohol and the holiday that is coming.

        It’s tough with work commitments and there will be days when you just can’t physically fit everything in. Keep the diet strict and you’re golden. Great job maintaining the focus too.
