Day 4. Hungry

I don't know jf it's a psychological thing but I've been walking around feeling hungry most of the time over the past few days. Not that I managed to adhere 100% to the 1/4 leftovers diet, but I've been avoiding mid morning or mid afternoon snacks (more like there was no time between meetings), and when I do have my proper lunch or dinner I feel
so hungry that it became hard to leave 1/4 behind.

Looking forward to the diet training because I will be eating according to diet prescribed and eating healthy foods all the time so there won't be hunger pangs in between!

Anyone else hungry??! 😆

I'm feeling your pain on the hunger front. its taking a lot of will power not to load up my plate at the start to make leaving a quarter easier. it will get easier (I hope).

    Hungry can be just as much psychological as physical, and man do our brains really prod us for what they can't have!

    Good job mindfully taking note of your feelings, that can help you leverage your mind and willpower! And the week 1 diets are often considered to be a ton of food to our trainees, hunger is often not the problem when you are eating clean!

      Yes. I'm feeling hungry and a little lightheaded throughout the day too. It can be quite distracting. I'm sure exercising and generally cutting down on food is doing this.

      However I think you shouldn't miss your mid morning and mid afternoon snacks. Eating small amounts but more often is the best way to keep our blood sugars from fluctuating too much and wards off hunger.

      Keep up the good work. It must be quite hard when you're traveling and surrounded by delicious foods at business meals!

        I just ate lunch at 11:30am.... so yes - hungry! That said, my bowl of vegetable soup and 6 grapes really filled me up.

          Vivian is right about not skipping your morning and afternoon snacks if you can find the time, Karen! :) The Kenzai diet is a magical thing in that trainees often complain there's too much food! How does that work? You'll soon be discovering that.. stay tuned Karen!

          You're doing great with your observations and blogging them out.. I'd love for you to get to day 60 or something and look back on this post! That's part of the fun of recording your thoughts! :)
