This morning was the first morning I found myself sleepy while meditating ( if I can call it that). A very different thought chain experience and a clear message that I need an early night.

Interesting. Have you tried different times in the day? I’ve been meditating mostly at night, before bed. Not ideal but it seems to be the only time I can find some quiet. I did the morning once though and found it refreshing and a lovely way to start the day.
Sleep is so under-rated. Hope you can catch up soon (is it possible to catch up?!)
