Program progress:

During the weekdays I managed to stick to the diet and exercise very well as I have done the past couple of weeks. However, on day 26 - one day after the first indulgence started! - I travelled to KL to visit some family friends! It was a long overdue catch-up and I found I was unfortunately unable to stick to the diet or do the exercise for 2 days. I can already feel the effects of missing out on these days and eating foods that are not on the diet.

Hoping that this week will be better now that I am back home. Feel a bit bad for breaking the streak but I am motivated to power through and get back into the routine.

A good thing from this week was that I was finally able to complete the entire jumprope set on some days, which is a lot better than splitting the cardio between jumprope and alternatives as I did last week due to my flat foot issue.


Easy and hard

So far I would say both the diet and exercise have easy and hard aspects, but overall the workout has been easier to keep up with.

I have found that there is a dramatic increase in my ability to do the exercises in the first few days compared to now as I realised how long it had been since I used or even stretched these muscles. However, I'm struggling with completing Jumprope as my flat foot problem seems to make my arches and ankles hurt a lot after jumping, so I have been doing a mixture of jumping and alternative cardio to slowly ease myself back into completing the full jumprope set.

I managed to keep exactly to the diet in the second week, but in this third week I am finding it slightly hard to adjust to eating no carbs for dinner! The fruit snacks and fairly heavy breakfast definitely help me feel full throughout the day, so I think I will be able to keep up after I get used to it this week.

I'm from Singapore & am studying at university in the UK (but am currently home on summer break and so thought it's the best time to try and get fit!)

My mom had told me about people she knew had completed KB, so I decided to sign up with her since we have the same goal of becoming fit & healthier this summer!
