Super slacker!

I wish I could say I have been so busy mad food prepping and exercising that I just havent had the time to blog....but that is not the case
I have been super busy, working long ass days, and trying to make acceptable food choices on the fly...with not nearly as much success as I would like.
I am barely treading water...but am still in the that is a good start. I shall just keep swimming and working on making changes...even if small, a change is a change and that is progress!

It's so easy to get off track. We have all been there on that slippery slope. Take a little while to plan your eating. I have a whole bin of frozen protein packs. These were weighed out and put away when we had leftovers. You know a hundred grams of beef, chicken, etc. comes in handy.

    You do amazing work as a Childcare Director. Your commitment speaks for itself. How you can balance your work life with your mom life with your Kenzai life is a struggle for sure. In my last decade as a teacher, I dedicated so much time to work that I neglected what was good for me. In my fifties, I rarely exercised, slept little, and ate irregularly. These behaviors continued into my early sixties until my body finally rebelled. I knew I had to stop what I was doing in order to live well in my golden years. Please stay committed-- perhaps you can get your daughters involved in helping you in these last weeks of the program.

      Every step helps. Choose one thing you can do and do it consistantly each day until the end. Every success makes you feel better. Meanwhile Charles is so right. You are doing important work and have been recognized for it.

        Now, look over your shoulder. There we are! Melyssa, we'll be in your corner no matter what shape your training takes. Keep battling. And if you decide you are ready to step up your game another notch, here's a plan:

        1. Set small, public, attainable goals.
        2. Show up for yourself and your team on the blogs with consistency.
        3. No guilt. Just work.
