Day 51 - Sick

Hi Team,

I've had a couple setbacks this week with being sick on the diet and exercise front. Felt like it was better to rest yesterday than push through. My stomach is quite upset this morning, but I'm going to try to be back on track today.

Last week was kind of hard for me about the diet, so I really want to do better this week. I hate feeling like I didn't do something 100% of my ability. Part of the reason for me not exercising yesterday as well as feeling sick is to try and reset the clock, remove any hunger triggers (always end the day pretty hungry, which makes me want to graze and snack before bed), and just stick to the right kind of diet.

I did great on the diet yesterday, but I'm looking for a perfect week from today!

It's always best to listen to your body and take a rest day when you need it.

      Hope you have a speedy recovery, Natasha. Stomach bugs are the worst so glad you listened to your body. Perfect week here we come!

        I understand how it feels when you don't get that perfect start to the routine .. I too have missed some days for xyzzy reasons but I always gather up strength to restart with more motivation .. It seems u r doing the same thing ..so stay at it ... stay focused 1 week up or down u can balance later ..but get well first and soon . Good Luck for perfect week

          Hope you feel better soon. Sounds like the focus is there, keep using that perfectionist trait in a positive way to resist that urge to graze, I’m hoping one day it will get easier!

            Natasha -- I hope you are feeling better this week. I don't like to go to bed hungry either. maybe save your morning milk to have a yogurt after dinner if you are feeling hungry??? I do that sometimes. Also, in my opinion (and the trainers will shoot me!) but some veggies or a piece of fruit before bed is not going to make you fat in the long run...but obsessing on hunger IS going to make you binge.
