Blur Week!

  • Apr 18th, 2019 at 2:31AM

Well, work and life certainly got busy the last seven days. We launched a new program in Japan and laid out the groundwork for new programs on the English side to come out in May. Have been nailing the workout every day and 90% on the diet with a few moments of weakness when an apple pie somehow made it home from the store. Will get the diet on full lockdown by the end of the week.

My only problem with the workout is my workout space isn't great for jumping rope then hitting the cycle. I jumprope outside on the street and do the workout in my bedroom so moving quickly between them is tough. So far I've been doing all the rope at first like a traditional workout. One day I'll have to do it right to see how it changes things.

Goblet squats are hard because all that weight is up in your front vs on your back in a barbell squat!

It's so refreshing to hear you have challenges too. :) Life truly does get so busy but I love how in this program each day offers a new chance to try our best.

Congrats on the new business developments. Sounds exciting.
Does jumping outside make it harder on your knees? I've felt the difference in the past between jumping outside vs. in a gym.

Yeah, take the kettlebells outside and try it as a circuit- it's a lot more fun that way!

I've experimented several versions...cardio upfront, 1 hour walk instead of jump rope, and this time, I'm going to follow it as is. I find that we get the most out of it when we follow the cycle as prescribed.
Now, join the big party. We have a great team boss!

@erin I have so many challenges staying fit that I started this business to help me out and I STILL struggle!

@kenneth jumping on the road is fine, but when I jump on the sidewalk it's rough on my body. Sidewalk concrete is much harder than road asphalt! That's why if you run it's better to run on the road than the sidewalk (assuming you don't get hit by a car!)

@jess yes I plan to hit the backyard once we start swinging the bells around so there's no worry of smashing up the house!

Bro, store-bought apple pie? That's just wrong...
New programs...stop me if you've heard this one before...
Bring those bellz outside, the full cycle is so much better.

Fish has you covered...the program was designed for the cycle workout to hit it just right. No excuses Jedi Master!
