Chizeled The Sequel

I took this pic when I flew over Hong Kong in February, thinking there were Kenzai peeps some where near the watery wind farm below (wing bank). Just to keep it short and sweet - this team was pretty thin, thinner than my Chisel 1 crew, so I was good, I was seasoned, I was prepped to get it done in a singular fashion, and the coaching lead by the mighty Sharmali Arumugathasan ~ just saying that is an Awesome Exercise, like a Hindu chant ~ carried me through. Thanks to Kate (where'd Kate go?), Swanand and Jude... not much more to say... Happy withe the hardcore Chisel 2 run as its hard but well worth it and hoping to make HIIT a part of my repertoire after a bit of well-earned rest. Happy Summer All, with Yoga and Swimming and a few weeks of down-time ahead, hope to see you for a Kenzai circle up come early September. Namaste

Glad you're getting some linguistic gymnastics in with my name. 😅
The challenge we have with advanced programs is that people often feel confident with the Kenzai ropes and neglect the importance of team support. You have no idea how much of our time as trainers is spent chasing down awol trainees. It's draining and disappointing when we have engaged trainees like yourself who are trying to keep the team going. It is what it is and it's really hit or miss every time with the blogs. What I would advise for future programs is to connect with the wider community. We have a bunch of Kenzai stalwarts who are all over the blogs and make things fun. I'll share some blogs with you on messaging later so you can start following them.
Thanks for giving it your best Paul and congratulations on some nice results there!
Hope to cross training paths again!

That's a great response Shar - thank you much appreciated. It's funny too - when I first joined Kenzai I thought, "They're not going to rope me into this blog thing - that sounds a little codependent" Lol so on one end I AM glad I can rock a training run solo but I DO enjoy connecting with others, making the process a bit more fun and more edifying. Losing one of my best friends and my brother this year, Kenzai is always a bright spot and seems to work when other areas of my life are tanking. What I eat and how I train are always under my own command if I choose the discipline... so send those names my way and do hit me with a COMPLETE if you can as I'm eager to ease back into daily training after a week or so off. Definitely hope to see you around and thanks again Shar!
