Done GRADUATION POST
This was a tough program that I really enjoyed. I worked hard on the exercises and had to use several alternative ones. The diet was not the best but I did tried to stay as close as I could. I feel great, ready for the beach and ready to move on to the next program. Good luck to all.
I have been traveling this week so it has been another challenge. I have been able to keep up with all the exercises and good with my diet. This has been the most challenging program I have taken with Kenzai. I feel great and look forward to the rest of the summer.
Last week went well except for Saturday. I had to take Saturday off as I called it my family and friends day. I was able to complete my cardio but didn't have time for my exercises till about 10pm. I couldn't get myself motivated so put it off till Sunday. Been doing great this week but still struggling with my diet. Getting up early tomorrow so I can get everything done before marching in a parade.
Sorry I have been a little slow on my blog. This has been the toughest program I have taken with Kenzai to date. I am sore and tired after my workouts but feel good. I am past my prime for a fantastic beach body so my motivation is for the long run. To tighten up the muscles, shed some fat and weight. The muscles are a little sore but tightening up. Thank you for the alternate full body exercises as I have had to use many of them. My diet hasn't been perfect but I keep working on it. I'm looking forward to the rest of the program.
I've taken off a few months and it was starting to show up as eating and exercise had suffered. I started this program looking for a challenge and after two days its definitely a challenge. The workouts have been hard but satisfying. Looking forward to the rest of the program.
Finished GRADUATION POST
Can't believe we are done already. I'm was a disappointed that I had to modify my final week as we were visiting my son in Colorado. I did accomplish my main goal of getting back on track and staying strong as I finish the ski season. Rolling around on the floor and chasing my grandchildren was the frosting on the cake. I'm looking forward to my next program.
Last Wednesday we flew to Denver for four days to assist our son and his wife with babysitting their 1 and 3 year olds. They travel a lot and had an overlap problem. This looked to be an easy issue to work around until we were asked to stay an additional week. My diet has taken the biggest hit as I have no control over the food coming into the house so I have been using my Kenzai lessons to make the best decision for meals. My workouts have been mixed in with chasing my grandchildren around. I had thought about quitting but want to complete the program. In hind site this was not the best time to re-boot however I have fulfilled the majority of my goals for this program. Looking forward to get through the final days. Sorry for the delay in blogging.
Went out for a nice dinner last night. Salomon with a little cinnamon on the side for the sweet potato. It was an excellent meal and I was full when I left..
The Tuesday full body exercise lesson came at the right time. After completing my exercises I then had to go out and shovel heavy wet snow for two hours. My second full body exercise of the day. The reboot program has helped me get back in shape for the heavy lifting. I'm on track with my diet, exercise and feeling good.
It's nice being back in a program. My last program was Ski and it ended in late December. The Kenzai program got me into great shape for skiing, thank you Ward, but traveling and the holidays got me off track. I have been doing a lot of skiing and on Tuesday I did my exercises at Mt Sunapee in New Hampshire. It was 40 degrees and snow conditions were great. There is nothing like spring skiing in February. The picture is from the top of the mountain looking down at Lake Sunapee. Im looking forward to getting back on track and working with everyone.
The end GRADUATION POST
This has been the most challenging program for me. Moving from one state to another, and traveling several times between states helped me learn how to work my exercises into my daily routine. Diet was harder but I was able to make it work.I want to wish everyone a great safe year skiing along with a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
I can't believe we are near the end of our program. This week I have been able to give 110 percent doing extra cycles and I can feel it as I'm a little sore. I'm now ready for skiing. My ski equipment keeps me warm and comfortable. Sorry for not being a better team member and blogging more.
This week I’m staying at my sons home watching the kids while he and his wife are both traveling for work. The challenges for this program continue to present themselves. I have been keeping up with the exercises but my diet has slipped a little and my cardio could be better. Looking back, this might not have been the best time to start this program, however I’m determined to get into great shape for the ski season so will continue to do my best until the end. Thank you Ward for the tips on travel. That is definitely going into my toolbox.
Hi all, my name is Bob and I live between Northeast PA and New Hampshire. I'm in the process of moving back to New Hampshire and have been delayed by of all things snow. We are leaving tomorrow. This moving always creates issues with my exercise and diet. My training with Kenzai helps minimize the damage. My background is in the military, airlines and federal government. Retired now, it allows me to ski mid-week and any time the snow is good. I grew up just north of Boston and skied New Hampshire and Vermont fighting the machined granular and ice. My fondness memories were skiing Stowe VT. My best friend moved to Burlington VT and I would spend all my winter school vacations staying with his parents. His farther would drop us off at the base of the mountain and at the end of the day we would ski down a 4 1/2 mile trail to meet his farther and go home. I participated in the SkiBoot program last year and had some of the most enjoyable skiing I have had in years. I'm looking to get into the best shape possible for this year and many more.
I completed my last program a while ago and am looking forward to the skiing program and skiing. Last year I went through the skiing program and had some of the best skiing I have had in years. We are still in Northeast PA and have had 13 plus inches of snow in the past week so it is the season. Next week we head to NH and I will be looking forward to another good year skiing. The picture is from last year.
