I’m starting to see the finish line in sight, I’ve not been very good at posting my week by week photo but I’m hangin in there.....


Down but not Out

Have been struggling with various sicknesses over the past month and last night some tuna from my lunch gave me a bout of food poisoning....having a rest day but will be right back at it😀


Managed to get back on track this week, thank goodness! Tried making the egg white soufflé which definitely is more appetizing than just a plain egg white....here’s to next week😀


Playing catch up

It’s been an up and down 2 weeks for me but I’m determined to get back on track. We went away for CNY and the limited dinner was a struggle to do while in a hotel (and on holiday!) I did try as much as possible to do the no carb dinner....wondering if I can just go back in the diet two weeks and just extend the program by 2 weeks? I know it might not be ideal but...


Can’t believe it’s been almost 4 weeks since this all started. I had a small blip in the road when I was traveling with my daughter and didn’t get the workouts in but I tried to stay strong on the diet.....

While I'm totally understanding the weighing side of the food last week I struggled to make some of my dishes exciting to eat. This week I'm challenging myself to make my food way more flavorful and more appealing to eat. Last night I made a kinda Summer Salsa.....I cooked 2 ears of corn (I don't have a BBQ but if i did i would have grilled them with a little spice) and sliced the corn off, diced bell peppers (green, yellow and red), diced red onion, diced cucumber, small amount of diced celery, diced tomatoes and some chopped coriander. I seasoned it with some lemon juice, white wine vinegar and ground pepper. Once weighed out I added some chopped avocado and served it with salmon.....it was super delicious :-) I actually made such a big bowl I might be eating it for a few days!! Tonight I'm trying roasted cauliflower....I'll let you know how it goes.....


Strong workout....

I wasn't feeling the love on Monday or Tuesday with my workouts, I got through them but I felt weak and lacked energy. Today was a whole new day, I got through my 5 x 80 jumprope without faltering and I felt strong with the rest of my workout. It's these days that we need to savor and know that we can do it if we just put our minds to it.......


Why Kenzai?

Hi, I'm Sarah.....I am currently living in Hong Kong and have been a roaming expat for the last 18 years due to my husbands work. I have 3 kids who are 10, 11 and 13 years old and definitely keep me on my toes. I heard about Kenzai through a friend here in Hong Kong and I always feel that I need a structured program to keep me on track, especially to motivate me to get to the gym. I'm excited to start Week 2 and to be a part of this awesome team.....
