Day 4 Locked In

Yesterday swapped the band stuff for weights. It makes sense really, I only have one band left after the rest snapped and I have LOTS of weights now after many Iron programs. Felt good, but had to go down in weight pretty fast to accommodate the paltry 10 second rest times! I don't remember the rest times being that short!!! In some parts of Iron you have 45 seconds in between sets - LUXURY!

I am looking forward to the diets hitting as I feel slightly lost at sea right now. No processed stuff, no booze, obviously but I do enjoy a structure.

Seems like this Chisel is going to be ON FIRE looking at the groups! This should make the nightmare looming on the horizon much more tolerable! :)

Some amazing folks on programme at the moment and do I see a surprise late minute addition with Shafi? You are too tough for the bands my bald brother, I subbed a bunch of kettlebell work for band work last time around, totally works!

    If you're looking to lean out then makes sense to drop weight anyway - you won't be feeding the muscle you're shredding well enough otherwise!

      Nice work combining iron & bands - I do the same, best of both worlds and sometimes speeds up teh transitions.

        Just back stuff has the 10 seconds, though on KB3 there was 15 seconds. Honestly I don’t understand the rest periods on Kenzai sometimes. 20 inverted v-sits gets you a 10 second break but leg-up 21s gets you a robust 21s! Keep smashing it fearless leader!

          Yes will be good to get stuck in the diet structure. First week always a little challenging.

                I didn’t pack bands on my trip and did Day 3 with the weight machines at the gym. Felt pretty good so I think I’ll mix it up now that I’m back. Don’t know how you’d do some of those pulldowns with just dumbbells though. Nightmare? Big sigh...
