Done and done! 

Great timing for me to finish up Chisel. I really enjoy the short and intense workouts of chisel and the program itself is the perfect length of time. I'm ready to go into the fall/winter in good shape and feeling super healthy. Sharm-thanks for always being a great support and holding all of us accountable. I'm feeling good but ready to wrap up this program. It's getting chilly here in Maine and throwing myself around doing the chisel workouts does not do the body good! I've been super lucky to have a very seasonable fall, but the temps are dropping and I'm ready to thrown on my hot yoga gear and winter hat for some outdoor runs in the woods.


Final Week

Looking forward to wrapping up this program. I've hit all the workouts thus far and think I can make is 100%. Feels good to be going into the fall in good shape and I'm looking forward to getting back on the trails for some mellow runs and fresh air. Good luck to all in the final week. Here we go!

Just coming off a great week. By Friday my legs were screaming. I managed to go 7 for 7 on workouts this week while getting away for the weekend for my anniversary. So nice to have a day to give the body a rest. I got out on my mountain bike with my dogs for a super mellow ride and am feeling really rejuvenated with some time away to rest and reconnect.
Ready to dial it in for the last two weeks. I also must say that I enjoyed some incredible food this weekend. Went off the diet for sure, but man it was worth it! Can't say enough about Belfast, Maine. If your in the area it is a worth an overnight or two. Good luck to the rest of my team this week!

Anytime I can get in the woods makes me pretty happy. Another beautiful fall weekend here in New England. Got out on my bike for my Sunday cardio and now I'm getting ready to put my feet up and prepare for Monday....I know what is coming.

I'm not a huge sweets person, but there are some things that are harder than others to resist. That being said, I held strong on our annual apple picking adventure and did not eat the donuts. Here's to a solid start to the week. My boys below and their crew missing a few for soccer games and a semester abroad in Spain.


Week 3

Another week in the books..almost! I've been able to keep the diet on point this week and managed only a few morning workouts. The weather has been amazing these past few weeks so I've been cashing in on some extra time out in the woods. Tomorrow I am going apple picking with the kids and for those of you who have been picking on the East Coast- it also means amazing homemade donuts....wish me luck!

Feeling really good after week one. Getting all my workouts in. Going to bed early. Eating clean. Getting outside. Looking forward to another strong week. Hope that all my teammates enjoyed a nice "rest day" . I took advantage of the warm weather and took a two hour walk in the wood. Good for the sole!

Veggies prepped for the week! Boom. Here we go.


Day 2

Was much better than day 1...Chisel is hard to crush in the early morning hours. I'm looking ahead and hoping that most of my workouts can be done after work hours. There is something nice about having the workout done in the morning, but I'm feeling like this go around might be better had in the afternoons...we shall see.

Hit the workout at 5:15 this am.....and it was really hard. Glad to get going and excited to be saying "goodbye" to sweets and such for a while. Looking forward to this training cycle and psyched to be getting back into Kenzai shape! A photo of some fall fruit in Maine.

That was fun! I have to say that my body is feeling pretty beat up and I'm most certainly ready to get on my yoga mat and give my body some love! I don't know if I could have done more than 28 days of this program. Not having the rest day certainly made this a challenge. On the flip side, I'm feeling like I'm in good shape going into the summer and psyched to play outside and see how I feel on my mountain bike and in my running shoes. Pat-way to go! That was awesome. Portand crew-as always such a pleasure to train with you all and spread the Kenzai run. Teo- thanks for dealing with my 5 am wake-ups and back deck knee capers!

Now...if the sun would just come out....I would think about putting on my bathing suit!

Despite the 4:30 wake up to head to NYC, got to my workout and I'm feeling good. We're spending the weekend in NYC visiting family and had the incredible opportunity to see Hamilton yesterday. Blown away! Hope all is well with folks and I'm looking forward to the final week and wrapping up this program.
