Like most of the Sagitta team I slumped this week. One night I changed into my exercise gear before falling asleep on the couch, which is very unusual for me. I consequently missed one workout that I then made up for on Sunday. But that will be the last of that, I don't have the reserves to overdraw the energy bank these days!
My downstairs neighbour complained about noise, so I am now forced to skip and jump outdoors. Yesterday was so smoggy, with 85% humidity and 35-degree temperatures. Killer! I do enjoy the change of scenery though and my skipping attracts a lot of attention and conversation from the five year old kids in my block.
On the diet front I did okay, however my hormones were awry and I caved in to sugar cravings with a late-night banana smoothie (Wed), honey and tahini on pumpernickel (Thurs), and, finally, 50g of chocolate (Fri). It has been a long time since I've had this extreme need for sugar, but this week I was climbing the walls! I suspect my overall energy-depleted state contributed to my emotional low too, which hit me hard on Saturday. Feeling good now though and looking forward to a strong final month!
