21KM COMPLETE! GRADUATION POST
- Jun 16th, 2016 at 2:53AM
Thanks to Malia for guiding the ship and pulling together a challenging and rewarding program. If you are a KRun grad you should seriously think about stepping your game up. KRun 2 is no joke, but having just shaved 10 minutes off my previous best half marathon time, I can vouch for its effectiveness.
Big ups to all the Nubian runners! Always nice to know that there are a few others in the community with sore achilles eyeing up some long-ass runs!

More power to you Ward. I can only say I won't do K-run 2 on a treadmill. Enjoy running in this amazing east coast weather as you prep for your mountain goat challenge. Well done shaving 10 minutes off your time!

Well played, sir! Now those 10 minutes may also be due in part to the fact that you've been running up and down mountains for the last month or so, but you did ace the program and in the end your achievements are a result of your hard effort and determination. Congratulations on being complete, my friend, and good luck on your next goat adventure!

Ward Willis: I swear, you hit forty and you went all Benjamin Button on me. You're getting fitter, faster, and more handsome every day, and that's not just me talking. It's the word on the street here in Portland. Someone said to me just today: "Whatever he's doing, I need to do it, too." Much love to you and congratulations on ANOTHER successful Kenzai outing.
