Captain Kneehab Shakes his ReBooty GRADUATION POST
- Jul 19th, 2015 at 9:54PM
Thomas, Pat, and I had a hand (mine was more like a finger) in developing this project. Pat took some of our ideas and really cranked out an incredible four week project. I have been humbled by his prose and really enjoyed the adventure. Four weeks of approachable training is transformative. Not in the same way as 90 Days of training, but that was never the intention. And there are few words that really capture the felt experience of eating clean.
Here is a quick and dirty list of my take-aways.
Successes:
-28 Days of Workouts
-28 Days on the bike
-Decreased body fat
-Feeling more handsome, hello cheek bones
-Clothes fitting better
-Diet in control
-Less Booze
-No sugary treats for 4 weeks
-Feeling closer and more in touch with the other members of the Kenzai Team
Struggles:
-Less booze doesn't mean no booze
-Had to modify any activities that involved jumping or lateral movements due to ongoing ACL repair recovery
Next Steps:
-Great baseline to carry into mountain bike season (hence the final pic) with an eye on intense cardio training over the next month to continue the momentum I have built over these four weeks
-Maintain less booze, diet, and no sweets
Celebration:
-Lobster Bake at the In-Laws and an Evil Twin Pils
-Dancing to the Song of the Day. This goes out to Team Kenzai Staff for their efforts during Reboot and it is Sunday after all: Donnie Trumpet and the Social Experiment ft. Chance the Rapper - Sunday Candy (video shot in one take - dope) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4ooH8frBWg

Those cheekbones are even cuter in person. So proud of you and your continued--indefatigable, really--optimism and positivity as you walk, bike, and eventually run on that long road to full recovery. You're a force, Willis! Much love and respect.
